Simon Schmidt is a songwriter, producer, film composer and artist based in Hamburg. 

With his solo project SYMØN, he released his debut album „Von Tag 1", rooted in emotional, multi-layered soundscapes. 

From there, his work has expanded into various projects, including „‚hyte“, a format that captures his musically imaginative approach through session recordings created in a remote forest cabin. 

In recent years, Symøn has increasingly focused on an elaborate live setup, moving further into electronic, experimental and ambient music. He is constantly searching for creative projects that think outside the box and allow space for exploration. Alongside his work as an artist, he is active as a film composer, known for a warm, layered sound with a strong affinity for experimental and unconventional textures.
